AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) - Austin police say the man who threatened a South By Southwest performance featuring The Roots Saturday night at Fair Market did so by emailing the company promoting the show.

Trevor Weldon Ingram, 26, was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat.

According to an affidavit, Ingram emailed, "F*** u I'm gonna pant (sic) a bomb and watch everyone die" and "BOMB" from his personal GMail account.

Police say the same email account sent threats to eBay employees in February and that email was registered to Ingram.

APD bomb squad officers and K9s did a sweep of the venue but no device was located. SXSW and event organizers decided to cancel the show out of an abundance of caution.

Ingram is charged with terroristic threat, a third-degree felony.
